Latest Cakes

I did this suitcase cake while I was in Canada this summer for my SIL brother who just returned from a mission in NY city.

Much thanks to my mom for helping me and for my dad for spending the day with Pey so we could do the cake.


This flower cake was done for Lil Man's mom's birthday at the beginning of January.



This is Lil Man's first birthday cake that I made for him. Loved that I was able to incorporate his present in the cake.

Peyton getting "Kylie Hair"

I love Pey's hair. Thanks to her daddy she has always had really long hair,(yes, sometimes it is a pain and to have to listen to the whining over the tangles, but it is beautiful). I have always wanted to curl her hair, but could never get it to stay curled with the curling iron.
Thanks to my friend Leslie and a post on her blog she had of her lil girl, I became a fan of the pink foam rollers and hair gel.

Peyton Sunday morning with G-ma, waiting for me to take the curlers out. Poor kid, she woke up through out the night, asking if it was time to take them out.

Lack of Blogging

Last week Scott was looking over the blog and told me that it looked like I had lost my desire to blog, and that I needed to start again.
He suggested I just take a few minutes a day and blog, I laughed at him and told him he was more than welcome to sit and blog.

To please Scott, I will try better.
